In short walking distance from this furnished apartment are the Opera Garnier and Place Vendôme with its world famous jewelers. Also among the numerous points of interest in this area are the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries. In fair walking distance are the Champs Elysées and the sophisticated Avenue Montaigne. There are lots of select restaurants, nice cafes, cinemas, and supermarkets near this accommodation.
Art, fine dining, and, of course, shopping are Paris' foremost attractions, but one of the most stunning discoveries may be the hidden world of its late 18th century covered alleys and arcades. The entrances to these glass-encased and mosaic-tiled arcades, which artfully snake through city blocks in central Paris, are easy to miss. Of the numerous passages, the Passage de Choiseul offers visitors the most accessible and authentic taste of Paris' arcade life. The stylish fashion house Kenzo and the famous theater Bouffes-Parisiens are located here.
Premises:
This 55m² (approx. 590 sq. ft.) spacious loft studio apartment is located on the first floor of an 18th century building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a corridor leading to a courtyard and a hall where the staircase and the elevator are. This elevator does not stop at the first floor.
The apartment entrance opens directly into the kitchen; a corridor links it with the main room and the bathroom.
The 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) main room has two double-glazed windows with eastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a little sofa, a dining table with six chairs, a coffee table, a console with a TV, a DVD player and a VCR, a closet with a computer and a stereo, another large closet and bookshelves.
The separate bathroom has a window overlooking a courtyard. It has a large spa tub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
The open kitchen has a window overlooking the courtyard; it is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee maker. There is also a washing machine.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Opera (lines 3, 7, 8).
