Studio apartment in the heart of the trendy part of the Marais
Neighborhood:

This furnished studio apartment is situated next to Place du Châtelet, a few steps away from the modernistic Forum des Halles and the famous Pompidou Centre in a lively area of Paris. It is an arts complex devoted to modern and contemporary art and design, a particularly colorful steel and glass structure with exposed pipes.

Around the area, there are also a lot of small streets such as Rue Montorgeuil with its restaurants, cafés, and specialty foods in an open market atmosphere. It also borders the Marais, a lively and historical neighborhood with pre-Revolution architecture and a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, and trendy bars and restaurants. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation.

Premises:

This 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) calm studio apartment is located on the first floor of a well-maintained walk-up building constructed in the beginning of the 20th century. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a corridor leading to a staircase.

The entrance door opens directly into the living room and the open kitchen. It has a tiled floor and a high ceiling that accommodates a comfortable wooden mezzanine area accessible by a staircase.

The 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) living room has a window that opens onto a calm courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed (with a real mattress), a coffee table, a cabinet and a shelf with a flat screen TV.

The mezzanine area has a double-size bed and shelves.

The open kitchen has a bar and is equipped with two electric burners topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a combo microwave/traditional electric oven, a coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle. Hidden by a mobile cabinet, there is a combo washer/dryer.

The small but convenient bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, a washbasin and a toilette.

Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.

The Châtelet-Les Halles underground train station, connected to the Forum Les Halles, is a major transportation hub; it houses metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14 and RER A, B, D. Also nearby is the Hotel de Ville (lines 1 and 11).
