This furnished one-bedroom apartment is located on Rue Lepic in the Montmartre section of Paris. The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century, this area was a mecca for artists, writers and poets. It maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
Premises:
This 48m² (approx. 515 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the sixth and top floor of a 19th century building with an elevator; there are three steps to access the apartment. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a corridor where a second door with an intercom leads to the elevator and staircase.
The entrance door opens into a corridor leading to the kitchen, dining area, and living room, which links to the bedroom and the bathroom.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a glass coffee table, some poufs, a console with a flat screen TV and a DVD player, a bookshelf and a decorative fireplace. High speed internet access is available.
The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables, a modern-style stool and a large closet. It also has an open bathroom with a shower and a washbasin.
The separate kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard and a dining area with a glass table and chairs as well as a closet. This 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
There is a separate toilette.
Heat and hot water are both gas.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Blanche (line 2) and Abbesses (line 12)
