This furnished apartment is in the lively and historical Marais area with its pre-Revolutionary architecture and its numerous of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, and diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area are the Place de la Bastille, the Opera -- founded for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution -- and the royal Place des Vosges. The latter is famous for the harmony of its architecture and for being the former residence of French novelist Victor Hugo. This accommodation is located right in the heart of the Marais surrounded by all sorts of essential shops and services.
Premises:
This 25m˛ (approx. 260 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fifth and top floor of an 18th century building with an elevator. The entrance is accessible from the street and is shared with a parking facility; it leads to a small courtyard where a gate, protected by coded security system, opens into the staircase and elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a small corridor linking the main room, the open kitchen and the separate bathroom.
The 18m˛ (approx. 190 sq. ft.) main room with exposed beams has a triple-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking the street.
It is furnished with a double-size bed, a double-size sofa bed, a dining table with chairs, a wooden chest of drawers with a TV and a DVD player, and a built-in closet.
The open kitchen is separated from the main room by a bar. It is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a washing machine.
The separate bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
Internet ADSL is also available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are St. Paul (line 1) and Bastille (line 1,5,8).
