Modern loft studio near the Père Lachaise Cemetery

Neighborhood: Mostly residential, this furnished apartment is in a genuine Parisian neighborhood close to the Père Lachaise cemetery, where a number of famous people are buried (Chopin, Moliere, Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison). A few metro stations away is the wide Place de la Republique and the legendary Place de la Bastille with its many entertainment options such as the Opera House, cinemas, gorgeous restaurants, and nice pubs. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation. Premises: This 47m² (approx. 505 sq. ft.) cozy studio/loft apartment is located on the ground floor of a building constructed in the middle of the 20th century. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system. The apartment has a tiled floor and a wireless Internet connection. The entrance door opens directly into the 26m² (approx. 275 sq. ft.) living room, which has three double-glazed windows overlooking the street and exterior rolling shutters with a remote control. This room is east exposed. The living room area is furnished with a corner sofa bed (140cm wide), a desk and a dining table with chairs. The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a toaster. Hidden behind the kitchen's worktop and a wooden Venetian style shutter, the 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) bedroom area is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table and a console with a small flat screen cable TV. The open bathroom located in the bedroom area is equipped with a white ceramic washbasin topped by a mirror and a spacious modern shower. Next to the washbasin, a small hallway is used as the dressing area and leads to the separate toilette. It contains the washing machine and the dryer. Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered. There is also a parking space available in the basement. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Gambetta (line 3 and 3bis) and is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
