A few steps from the splendid Luxembourg Garden, this furnished apartment is located on a mostly residential street in one of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank. Close to this accommodation are the fashionable Rue du Cherche Midi, and the renowned Montparnasse district prized by great artists and writers such as Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, and Hemingway in the 1920s and 1930s. This area of Paris is also known as the theater district. Featuring the latest and most chic boutiques, there are all sorts of convenience shops in the area as well.
Premises:
This 85m² (approx. 910 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 1900s building. The main entrance gate is protected by an intercom and leads to the staircase and the narrow elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor that links all the rooms.
The spacious 33m² (approx. 355 sq. ft.) living room has two windows overlooking the street with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, armchairs, a dining table, cupboards, bookshelves and two decorative fireplaces (one of them is equipped with a decorative heating fire system). There is also an old-fashioned TV.
The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a window with curtains overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, an antique-style desk and a cabinet.
The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) second bedroom can be used as an office. It has a window overlooking the street and is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a large desk with an armchair and a built-in closet.
The separate eat-in kitchen also has a window. It is equipped with four vitro-ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a wooden table with chairs, shelves and small TV.
The bathroom has a shower, twin washbasins, a bidet, a washing machine and a window with curtains.
The separate toilette shares a wall (with a window) with the adjoining shower.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Sèvres Babylone (lines 10 and 12) and St. Placide (line 4).
