Two-bedroom apartment in Marais area
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished two-bedroom apartment is situated on Rue de Turbigo between Boulevard Sebastopol and Rue St. Martin in the Marais, an old and popular area of Paris. It is one of the Parisian neighborhoods that has preserved almost all of its pre-revolutionary architecture. Close by are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian Rue de Montorgueil, a residential and commercial street with greengrocers, fishmongers, and lovely restaurants and cafes. A little further away is the royal Place des Vosges with the former residences of many historic personalities. Also nearby are the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine with its enchanting islands. The apartment is accessible via a charming paved alley where there are many art galleries and shops.
Premises:
This 125m² (approx. 1,345 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth floor of an 18th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall leading to the staircase and the elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall linking the separate bathroom, the two bedrooms, the living room and the open kitchen.
The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed French doors that open to a balcony with northern exposure overlooking the street.
The living room is furnished with a double-size sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, a flat screen TV mounted on the wall and equipped with a home cinema system, and a bookshelf with a stereo and a DVD player. There is also a piano.
The open kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard and is separated from the living room by a large bar with 6 stools. It is equipped with two induction plates and two gas burners topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and a dishwasher.
The first 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with eastern exposure overlooking a paved alley. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a single-size bed, a chest of drawers and a built-in closet.
The second 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with southern exposure overlooking a paved alley. It is furnished with a bunk bed, a chest of drawers, a desk and chair, and a closet.
The separate bathroom is divided into two parts. There is one area with a toilette, a washing machine, a dryer and some built-in closets; the other area has a window, two washbasins, a bathtub with a showerhead, a shower with a showerhead and a towel dryer.
Heat and hot water are gas.
