This furnished apartment is situated on Rue de Grenelle in the Saint Germain des Près area, between Boulevard Raspail and Rue de la Chaise in Paris. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, the high-demand Saint Germain des Près district is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. Here also are number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market), the Rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
Premises:
This spacious 73m² (approx 785 sq ft) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 17th century walk-up building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a large hall leading to the staircase and a courtyard.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall linking the living room, the separate kitchen, the separate bathroom and the separate toilette. The bedroom is accessible from the living room.
The 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with southern exposure overlooking the street, and two double-glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a single-size bed, a double-size sofa and a meridian line sofa, a glass coffee table, a dining table with chairs, and many bookshelves with decorative items.
The 19m² (approx. 200 sq. ft.) bedroom has two double-glazed windows with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bedside table, an armchair, two built-in closets and a chest of drawers with a cable TV, a DVD player and a VCR.
The separate kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard and is equipped with three gas burners and an electric plate, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a combo washer/dryer.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a closet.
There is also a separate toilette.
An Internet connection is available.
Heat and hot water are gas.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Rue Du Bac (line 12).
