Among the numerous points of interest in this area is the celebrated Louvre, one of the first European museums; a medieval fortress and palace and residence of many kings of France, in 1793 it was established as a museum by the French Republic. In fair distance are the Opera Garnier, Place Vendôme and its world famous jewelers, the Champs Elysées, and the very sophisticated Montaigne Avenue. It also has a dining area, which is furnished with a dining table and chairs. The separate bathroom has a window overlooking a courtyard. It has a bathtub, a washbasin and a washing machine . There is also a separate toilette. Heat and hot water are gas. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Chatelet (lines 1,4,7,14, RER A,B,D).
