This furnished apartment is right at the border of Montparnasse between Luxembourg Quarter and Invalides Quarter in Paris. This area is celebrated for its elegant streets featuring stylish fashion shops, antique shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes and other pleasure options. It is just steps from Montparnasse, with its cinemas and theaters, and also close to the enchanting Luxembourg Garden, the Seine, and most of the important monuments and points of interest in the city. Furthermore, there are excellent quality services such as fine bakeries and supermarkets and other convenience shops near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the ground floor of a 19th century building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to a calm, paved courtyard. This provides access to the terrace via an iron door with an intercom. This terrace has access to the apartment via a secure door that can be closed by a secure electric rolling shutter. The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) terrace has a square dining table with chairs and is surrounded by plants, which have an automatic watering system.
Upon entering the apartment, there are steps that go downstairs to the living room and the open kitchen and upstairs to the bedroom and the bathroom.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room is nicely decorated with contemporary furniture. It is furnished with two sofas that can be used as two single-size beds, bookcases and a cable flat screen TV with its DVD player. Under the staircase, there is a dressing equipped with shelves, drawers and wardrobe. This room also has a phone and a high-speed DSL Internet connection (a wireless connection is also available). The ceiling height on the second level is 1.90m (approx. 6.25 ft).
Behind the bar, there is a modern open kitchen equipped with four induction plates topped by a cooker hood, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a combo washer/dryer and a coffee maker.
Upstairs the 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom overlooks the kitchen. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and bedside tables. The ceiling height is 1.90m (approx. 6.25 ft).
The designer bathroom is accessible from the bedroom. It contains a washbasin, an electric drying rack, a Balneo shower system and a large built-in closet with sliding doors.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Vaneau (line 10) and Duroc (lines 10 and 13).
