One-bedroom apartment in front of the Sacré Coeur

Neighborhood: This furnished one-bedroom apartment is situated on Rue Saint Eleuthère between Rue Azais and Rue Norvins just in front of the famous Sacre-Coeur Basilica. The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century, this area was a mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of Paris from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodaton, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic. Premises: This 45m² (approx. 480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall, leading to the staircase. The apartment entrance opens into a corridor leading to the separate kitchen, the separate toilette, the bathroom, the bedroom and the living room. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with southern exposure with an amazing view of Paris. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a pouf, a coffee table, a dining table with chairs, a console surmounted by a TV, a DVD player and a VCR, and a chest of drawers. The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window with eastern exposure overlooking the street and the Sacré Coeur. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, bookshelves, a TV and a built-in closet. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric plates, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a washing machine. The separate bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead and a washbasin. There is also a separate toilette. Heat and hot water are electric. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Abesses (line 12).
