Studio apartment between the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is situated between the Invalides and Rue Saint-Dominique in the neighborhood of the Eiffel Tower and not far from the parks of the Champs de Mars. It is near the Military School monument, the beautiful Esplanade des Invalides and the glorious Hotel des Invalides, which was built by Louis XIV in 1670 to house and take care of old, disabled soldiers. On the Left Bank by the Seine River, the impressive Musée d'Orsay, and the National Assembly are in walking distance. The streets in this vicinity abound with smart fashion shops, in vogue restaurants and cafes, art galleries, cinemas, and markets.
Premises:
This recently renovated 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fifth floor of a building constructed in 1965. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall with a second door that has an intercom. This opens into a hall that leads to the staircase and the elevator.
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor that leads to the bathroom on the left (via a sliding door) and to the main room and the open kitchen straight ahead.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) main room has a double-glazed window and a French door that opens to a small balcony. The windows have curtains and electric rolling shutters. The balcony overlooks the street with a western exposure and offers a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower.
The main room is furnished in a contemporary style with a queen-size Murphy bed, a sofa, armchairs, a dining table with two chairs, and bookshelves. This room is equipped with a flat screen cable TV, a DVD player and an air conditioner.
The open kitchen is equipped with two induction plates topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and an Italian-style coffee maker.
The bathroom contains a shower cabin accessible by a narrow door, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine.
The apartment is also equipped with a vacuum, an iron and an ironing board.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building. Heat is distributed by floor.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Invalides (lines 8, 13 and RER C). There are also several bus stops around the apartment (lines 69, 80, 92, 28).
