This furnished apartment is in the Marais district, situated between Rue de la Verrerie and Rue Saint Merri. An area in demand, the Marais is one of the neighborhoods in Paris that has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. In the vicinity of this street are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, the wide Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes. A little further is the royal Place des Vosges, a must-see and the former residence of many historic personalities; it also has several precious museums. Most of the important points of interest such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine -- with its enchanting islands -- are in fair walking distance of this accommodation.
Premise:
This 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th century walk-up building.
The entrance gate, which has a coded security system, opens into a hall where a second gate protected by a digital key leads to a courtyard. Then a third gate with a digital key and intercom leads to the staircase.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall, which links the living room, the open kitchen and the separate bathroom. The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) living room has two windows with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a small dining table and two stools, a mezzanine with a double-size bed on the floor and a large desk and chairs under the mezzanine. There are also some closets.
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar, has a window and is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates, a microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster and some cooking items.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Hotel de Ville (line 1,11).
