In short walking distance from this furnished apartment are the Opera Garnier and Place Vendôme with its world famous jewelers. Also among the numerous points of interest in this area of Paris is the Louvre, one of the first European museums. It was a medieval fortress, palace, and residence of many kings until 1793 when it was established as a museum by the French Republic. Near this accommodation are the Champs Elysées and the sophisticated Avenue Montaigne. All around this district are select restaurants, a number of nice cafes, cinemas, and supermarkets.
Premises:
This 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) apartment is located on the first floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a corridor leading to the staircase.
Behind the entrance door is the bedroom area and the bathroom. On the other side is the living area. The wall that separates these rooms is used as built-in closet in the bedroom and shelves in the entrance.
The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) living area has a Wengé parquet floor and a double-glazed window with a view of the small street. It is furnished with a dining table with two chairs, a stereo and shelves holding numerous CDs.
The open kitchen is equipped with two induction plates, a sink, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and a microwave.
The 7m² (approx. 75 sq. ft.) bedroom area has a parquet floor and a double-glazed window that overlooks a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, shelves and a built-in closet with sliding doors that separate the apartment in two and convert it to a one-bedroom.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a toilette and a towel warmer.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Tuileries (line 1), Pyramides (line 14) or Opéra (line 3,7,8) and RER A.
