Neighborhood:
A high-demand area, the Marais is one of the Paris neighborhoods which has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. In the vicinity of this furnished apartment are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, the wide Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial Street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes. A little farther away is the royal Place des Vosges, the former residence of many historic personalities and home to a number of precious museums. Most of the important points of interest such as the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands are in fair walking distance of this accommodation.
Premises:
This 30m² studio is located on the Rue au Maire between Rue Volta and the famous Rue Beaubourg on the second floor of an 18th century walk-up building. It is protected by two coded systems. The first one is at the main entrance gate, which opens to a corridor and then a small courtyard. The second one is at the foot of the building near the studio.
The main room is tiled and has three double-glazed windows with curtains that overlook the entrance courtyard. It is furnished with a double sofa bed with a coffee table and has a wooden dining table and two chairs in the corner. It also has a stereo.
The open kitchen is equipped with four electric plates with a dishwasher and an oven topped by a cooker hood. It has a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and a toaster. Between the kitchen and the living room is a bar with two stools.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine and dryer.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Arts et Métiers (line 3).
