This furnished apartment is located on Rue Oberkampf between Rue Saint Maur and Rue Moret in Paris. Designed by the Baron Haussmann in 1854, the Place de la Republique has at its center the 10m high Republic statue. This accommodation is very close to the famous Place de la Bastille, where the new opera is considered one of the best in the world and was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. This neighborhood has many choices of restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops. The Republique area is very convenient for students and people who appreciate arts and crafts. It is also very central with quick access to most interesting points in Paris.
Premises:
This 34m² (approx 365 sq ft) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 1900s walk-up building.
The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a courtyard where a second gate, also with a coded security system, leads to the staircase.
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor, which links to the dining room. This is followed by the living room and the bedroom. The separate kitchen and bathroom are accessible through the dining room.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) dining room has a window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a dining table and stools, built-in bookshelves, and a stereo.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) living room has a window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a modern-style coffee table, a modern-style armchair and a chest of drawers with a cable TV, a DVD player and a stereo.
The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table and a large built-in closet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and some cooking items. There is also a washing machine and a dryer.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water area both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Parmentier (line 3).
