Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located on the quai des Celestins on the Seine river, in an exclusive residential area on Ile St. Louis that is one of the most beautiful in Paris. The heart of the island features numerous little shops, cozy crêperies and elegant restaurants, often in vaulted cellars that create a beautiful setting. The closely packed houses, the little cafes where a cup of coffee can be enjoyed at leisure, and the quiet quays add to the charm of this historic neighborhood. This accommodation is very close to the Hôtel de Ville, the Latin Quarter and the Panthéon. Premises: This 150m² (approx. 1615 sq. ft.) furnished apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a building with an elevator. The main entrance gate with a digicode opens into a hall with a concierge, which in turn leads to a second door with an intercom. Just behind, there is a small entrance and an elevator The apartment entrance door is next to the equipment on the staircase landing. Upon entering the apartment, there is, on the one hand, a long, windowed corridor leading to the bedrooms, the shower room, and the bathroom. There is also a kitchen. On the other hand, there is the living room and the dining room. The 37 m² (approx. 398 sq. ft.) living room has two French doors with curtains and shutters that grant access to the balcony overlooking street. It is furnished with armchairs, two sofas, a great amount of antique furniture, and a decorative fireplace. It is also equipped with a cable television. The 16 m² (approx. 172 sq. ft.) dining room has a parquet floor and two French doors with two small balconies overlooking the street. It is furnished with a dining table with six chairs, and a buffet. The 18 m² (approx. 194 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a French window overlooking the street. It is the first room accesible via the corridor. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables, a desk, a long armchair, and some bookshelves. There is also a stereo, a clothing closet and a shower room fitted with a shower, a washbasin, and a towel heater. In the front of this room, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. The 16 m² (approx. 172 sq. ft.) second bedroom has the same view as the first one and a French window. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, two bedside tables, two chests of drawers, and a built-in closet. It is also equipped with a television and a stereo, and provides access to the bathroom. The tiled bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, a shower, a washbasin, a towel heater, a built-in closet, and a toilet. The separate kitchen has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is equipped with a dining table and two chairs, two electric plates, two gas plates topped with a cooker hood, a microwave, a traditional oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee-maker, a kettle, and a toaster. Heat is vapor-based and collective, and hot water is electric and separate. Internet access and a fax machine are also available. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Sully Morland (line 7) and is directly downstairs.
