The historic Place de la Bastille and the new Opéra House, considered one of the best in the world, are located close to this accommodation, at the starting point of Rue de la Roquette. Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, antique shops and the famous French novelist Victor Hugo's residence at number six, is a ten-minute walk away from this Paris accommodation. You can visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels (especially Les Misérables). The wide selection of traditional ethnic restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets (such as the one on Place d'Aligre) guarantees an unforgettable sensory experience. The Monoprix chain store and a variety of conveniences also have locations within a short distance of this accommodation. The 9 m² (approx. 97 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor, and a window with curtains and shutters that has the same view as the living room. It is furnished with a double-size futon bed and several shelves. The tiled shower room is fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a toilet, and a washing machine/dryer combination. It has a small window as well. The open kitchen is equipped with two gas plates, a multifunctional oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a kettle, and a coffee-maker. It also has a window. Heat and water utilize gas and are separate. Internet access is available. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Oberkampf (line 5 and 9).
