Located on Rue de Lappe between Rue de la Roquette and Rue de Charonne, this furnished studio apartment with mezzanine is ideally situated close to the Place de la Bastille. Rue de Lappe is a picturesque, cobble-stoned street in the trendy heart of the lively Bastille district. Quiet during the day, with furniture workshops and art galleries, it livens on weekend evenings with its popular restaurants and bars and Paris' most famous bal-musette (traditional dance hall), the Balajo. It is five minutes to Place de la Bastille and about 10 minutes to the beautiful Place de Vosges in the Marais. The immediate neighborhood has excellent bakeries, a butcher, a supermarket, a health food supermarket, pharmacies, etc. Two of Paris' best and most famous street markets are very close by, Richard Lenoir and Place d'Aligre. Not very far (two metro stations away) is the trendy Oberkampf neighborhood.

The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate protected by a key opens into a hall with a staircase.

The entrance door opens into the living room, which links the bathroom, the separate toilet and the kitchen. A staircase leads to the mezzanine.

The 20m2 (approx 215sq ft) living room has a window with northwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a stereo and a console surmounted by a flat screen TV and a DVD player.

The 7m2 (approx 75 sq ft) mezzanine bedroom has a skylight. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table and a small closet.

The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead and a washbasin.

There is also a separate toilet.

The open kitchen has a window and is equipped with four induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is a dining table with chairs, as well as a washing machine.
