One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, there also are a number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore in the neighborhood. Nearby is the new Marché Saint Germain (fashion market) and at feet of the building there is an open-air market and the metro station.
