This furnished two bedroom duplex apartment is located on Rue de Vaugirard between Rue Saint -Placide and Rue de Rennes. A few steps away from the historical district of Saint Germain des Pres with its elegant, trendy streets known for the many stylish fashion shops, antiques' shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants, pubs and cinemas. After World War II, St. Germain des Près became synonymous with intellectual life centered around bars and cafes. The Seine River and the Luxembourg gardens are within a short walking distance. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood, as well as open-air markets.
Premises:
This 83 m2 (approx 893 sq ft) two bedroom duplex apartment is located on the ground floor of a 20th century building with elevator.
The entrance gate protected by an intercom opens into a corridor with a second gate and a third gate.
Then a third gate protected by a second intercom opens into a courtyard, which leads to the apartment.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen.
The 42m2 (approx 452 sq ft) living room has 3 windows with northern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with two sofas, a bedside table, a coffee table, a console surmounted by a flat screen TV, a dining table with chairs and a closet.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a little bar.
The first 12m2 (approx 129 sq ft) bedroom is furnished with two single size beds, bedside tables, a desk and a chair and some shelves.
The second 14m2 (approx 150 sq ft) bedroom has two windows with northern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a single size bed and a double size bed, bedside tables, a desk and a chair and a closet.
The first bathroom is situated on the first floor, has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a heated towel rack and a toilet.
The second bathroom is situated on the second floor and has a big bathtub, a washbasin, a heated towel rack and a toilet.
There is also a washing machine in the storage room.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Saint-Placide (line 4), Rennes (line12) and Sévres-Babylone (lines10 and 12 ).
