You will also find cafés and restaurants there, as well as a nice square to relax. The historic Marais, known for its art galleries, museums and fashion boutiques is within easy walking distance. It is also popular for its trendy bars and music venue, the Bataclan. While you are in the Marais, go and visit the Place des Vosges, the oldest place in Paris where the famous novelist Victor Hugo once lived.
