This apartment is situated between Avenue de la Republique and rue du Faubourg du Temple in the 11th district of Paris. A few steps away is the delightful Saint Martin channel bordered by trees and dotted with little bridges, making it an idyllic local landscape; it is one of Parisians' favorite areas to live, also neighboring Republic Place, which offers a variety of entertainment options and conveniences. The cycling tracks from Bastille to the Villette district promise much enjoyment. The Louvre and the Seine are about 10 minutes away by metro.

This one bedroom apartment is located on the seventh and top floor of a 19th century building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a courtyard leading to a second gate with a different digicode. This door opens into the staircase and the elevator, which reaches the sixth floor. A second staircase leads to the seventh floor.

A corridor with ceiling spotlights and bookshelves provides access to all the rooms.

The living room has two double-glazed windows with western exposure overlooking Saint Joseph's Church and some Parisian rooftops. It is furnished with a single sized sofa bed, two armchairs, a glass-top coffee table, short bookcases, a stereo standing on a console and a cable TV with basic channels, a VCR and a DVD player.

The dining room and open kitchen have two windows with the same exposure as the living room. It is furnished with a round wood dining table and four chairs, a nice lamp on a console, a fine original wall mirror, and recessed wall bookshelves.

A tile countertop separates the dining room from the kitchen. There are three electric burners, a microwave, a hood with an exhaust fan, a refrigerator, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster. In addition, there is a combo washer-dryer, a stainless steel sink, and cupboards containing the necessary utensils.

The bedroom has a window protected by outside shutters with northern exposure overlooking Saint Joseph's Church and Parisian rooftops. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables and closets. There is a separate toilet close to this bedroom.
