Refined & tasteful one bedroom apartment on Ile Saint Louis
|
Delightful and selected Ile Saint Louis on the Seine River, calm street between Rue des Deux Ponts and Pont de Sully.
Refined in its tastefully elaborated decoration this 50m2 apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a well-maintained walk-up building from the 17th century having a security code. It has enough bedding for 2 couples.
South exposed and facing the street, recently remodeled, it has mostly off-white sand painted walls, some genuine old stone walls, genuine beams, and a nice wooden floor.
Passing the main door is the tiny entrance with the accesses to the living room, to the separated kitchen, to the bedroom, and to the bathroom.
Elegant the 26m2 living room has a beautiful antique chandelier, masterpiece paintings, and nice lamps. It is furnished with a high quality' double sofa bed and two similar armchairs, the whole in front of the nice and large polished stone decorative fireplace beside which is the TV and the VCR with cable (included in the rent) covered by a sheet, both on a console. In the opposite side there is a rectangular wooden table with 4 wooden chairs. Two large windows with yellow drapes on the street side enlighten this room.
Just beside the living room, to the right side of the entrance, is the well-equipped kitchen having a nice tiled floor and a serving hatch communicating directly with the living room. It is fitted out with 2 gas burners and 2 vitro-ceramic burners, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge and freezer, and a dishwasher. Besides there is a tiled worktop with a stainless steel sink, several cupboards containing the necessary kitchen utensils, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster.
Cozy the 12m2 bedroom has an old style red tiled floor, a wrought iron double bed with night tables and lamps, a built-in closet, built-in bookshelves, a wooden wardrobe, and an antique armchair. Here the window with nice drapes opens to the courtyard.
All off-white tiled the bathroom has a built-in display window having seashells and other objects decorating the bathtub with shower' bottom wall. It also has a washbasin. Restroom is separated. All linens are provided. There is a central heating and water heater. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
In the heart of the historic Paris the selected and delightful Ile Saint Louis has its particular charm in the harmony of the close-packed houses, the little cafes where a petit café can be enjoyed at leisure, the quiet quays and the aura of the past which pervades the island. Along the island's main street, Rue Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile, there are numerous little shops, cosy crêperies, and smart restaurants, often in vaulted cellars, which form an attractive setting for an elegant meal. The nice view of the Hotel De Ville, of the Quartier Latin and the Panthéon, and, of the Ile de la Cité and Notre Dame Cathedral, inspire an agreeable stroll along the quays, or a picnic on the banks of the Seine River.
The closest metro stations are Pont Marie and Sully Morland (line 7), and the RER B - Saint Michel.
