Ideally located 1 bedroom apartment in the Marais
|
Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in a very popular area, the Marais. It is one of a number of Parisian neighborhoods that has preserved almost all of its pre-revolutionary architecture. Close by is the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with greengrocers, fishmongers, and lovely restaurants and cafes. A little farther away is the royal Place des Vosges with the residences of many historic personalities. Also nearby are the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands.
Premises:
This 48m² (approx. 515 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of an 18th century walk-up building. The street's main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into the corridor. On the left is the bathroom and then the toilet; to the right is the bedroom. Straight ahead is the living room.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has two windows overlooking the street with a northwestern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, an armchair, a coffee table, a phone, a dining table with four matching chairs and a console with a flat screen TV and a VCR.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has one window overlooking the street with a northeastern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two chairs, a small TV and a built-in closet.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker and a kettle.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and showerhead and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet.
An Internet connection is available.
The nearest metro station is St Paul (L1).
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
