Two bedroom apartment in Saint-Sulpice
|
Priviledged location is this intersection of renowned fashionable streets of the Saint Germain de Pres area, in other words, Rue du Cherche Midi, Rue de Grenelle, Rue de Sevres, and Rue du Four.
Located on the 3rd French floor of a well maintained 19th century building having a security system, an intercom, an elevator, and a concierge. You have to climb a set of stairs before reaching the elevator on the 1st french floor.
This 100m2 apartment is bright due to its south exposure, faces the intersection and the courtyard, being perfect for a couple and two children.
Most of the apartment is white painted. There are beautiful ceiling moldings, a nice wooden herringbone patterned floor, a non-working marble fireplace surmounted by large antique mirrors in the living room, dining room, and bedrooms, and windows with outside shutters opening to a little balcony on the street side. At first, in the off-white painted hall there are a desk, a telephone, and a mobile coat rack.
To the left side is the living room. It is furnished with a single sofabed garnished with a white sheet and a wrought iron sofa around the square coffee table facing the out of use white marble fireplace which is surmounted by a large mirror. Besides there is a cable TV with a DVD player on a console, and two windows with net curtains on the street side.
Wireless internet access is available.
In the living room there is an office area with , two desks, bookshelves, a small wooden closet, and a window on the street side, outside shutters and curtains.
Across the bedroom the light blue tiled and white painted bathroom encloses a bathtub with a wall-mounted shower protected by a plastic curtain, and a washbasin. The restroom is separated.
Opposite, to the left side of the living room is the white painted children bedroom. It is furnished with two single loft beds (separated by a semi plastic partition wall), a wooden closet, a small desk, and a double glazed window, outside shutters, as well as curtains.
The bedrooms have double insulated windows.
The spacious eat-in-kitchen is off-white painted and has a red tiled floor. It comprises a rectangular dining table with four chairs, a white worktop with double ceramic sinks, and is equipped with 4 vitro ceramic burners, a traditional electric oven, a hood with fan, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and a washing-drying machine. Also available are a toaster, and basic kitchen utensils.
The Saint Germain des Pres is a celebrated area for its elegant, trendy streets and for the many pleasure' options stylish fashion shops, antiques' shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and pubs, and cinemas. Also, in the area there are excellent quality services such as the well-known daily Buci' open air market, bakeries with their delicious French baguettes, and supermarkets. It is also in a short walking distance to the Seine River and the delightful Ile Saint Louis, and not far from the ravishing Luxembourg garden.
The nearest metro is St. Sulpice (line 4)
