Studio right in the heart of Quartier Latin
|
This well situated 25m2 studio is located on the first French floor of a walk up building from the 17th century facing northwest, having double security code systems for two separate doors The studio can accommodate four persons.
The layout is as follows: main entry to a hall, the bathroom is on the left side of the hall, follow by the living room/bedroom. The kitchen is on the side of the living/bedroom and there is an upper mezzanine on the top of the kitchen. Most walls are off-white with terra-cotta tiles; the living/bedroom has a high beam ceiling. The kitchen has a wood ceiling and brick color tiles on the counter and over the counter. The bathroom walls have a combination of cream color paint with beige tiles. The décor is modern.
The 15m2 living room/bedroom is furnished with a double sofa bed, a bistro style marble table with two matching chairs, a small reading lamp, a table with a medium size TV, cable box and alarm clock. There is a nice size armoire with an iron, vacuum cleaner and an iron board, a mirror, a telephone, an electric floor fan, a corner table with portable radio/CD player and a small lamp and two windows with nice fabric curtains and a few decorative items. In addition there is a small staircase leading to an upper mezzanine with a double size bed.
The separate kitchen is equipped with an electric plaque 2-burners with exhaust fan, a small fridge, double sinks, a microwave, a coffee maker, a separate electric oven and a washing machine. In addition there a cabinets and shelves containing the necessary kitchen utensils.
The bathroom has a bathtub with showerhead, protected partially by a glass screen, a sink with a mirror above it and a cabinet below it, a towel rack, a toilet and a small cute window facing the hall.
Bordering the Seine River and just beside Notre Dame Cathedral this exceptional location in the heart of the Quartier Latin is undoubtedly one of the most youthful areas of Paris abounding of historical points of interest. Famous institutes of learning are found in this area like La Sorbonne, retaining much of its old character. This district is cover with narrow, cobbled streets dating back to the 13th century, abounded by diverse jazz clubs, cafes, cinemas and bookshops. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
There is electric heating and water heater.
The closest metro station is Saint Michel line 4 and RER line C.
