It is located in a lively area, a few steps from the Place de la Liberation, which is just north from Rue Jean Medecin (one of the main shopping streets) in Nice, French Riviera in the south of France .
All types of shops are nearby (cafes, restaurants, shops ...) including a supermarket. A very nice market (vegetables, flowers, local produce ...) takes place every day on Place de la Liberation, 2 minutes walk. The beach, one of Nice's biggest draws, is a 10 minute tram ride away, and the tram stop is only 100 meters from the apartment! Alternatively, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll to the beach along the Rue Jean Médecin, lined with boutiques and shops.

The train station is 5 minutes walk. (Taxi station and tram stop to the city center 100 meters from the apartment and self-service bicycle station).

Through the Avenue Jean Medecin, the beach is about 15 minutes on foot.

The apartment is conveniently placed whether you have a car or not.

Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivaled setting of the "Baie des Anges", is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France ; among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot : the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences. Do not miss the Carnival at the very beginning of February Access : The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d'Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 20-30 minutes away.
