This one bedroom / one bathroom apartment of approximately 50 sqm is on the 5th French floor (6th floor) of a residence overlooking the blue Mediterranean Sea. The apartment has due South exposure. This postwar building dating from the 1960’s has an intercom system, and an elevator. This accommodation is available for weekly rentals from May through December, and can accommodate 2 people.
You enter the apartment through a hallway. The living room is about 20 sqm and is furnished with a sofa bed (double size), an Antique cupboard, an armchair, a coffee table, and a round dining table seating 4. There is a TV. From this living area, a large French doors open onto a balcony that overlooks the sea.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burners (gas and electric), an oven, a refrigerator / freezer, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a dishwasher. The kitchen also has a French window opening onto the balcony, where is a washing machine.
The bedroom is approximately 12 sqm and also has a large French door opening on the balcony. It is furnished with two twin beds, a nightstand with table lamps, a writing desk, and a large closet. In the hallway is also a large built-in closet.
The bathroom has marble countertops, a bathtub/shower, and a sink with mirror. Water closet is separated.
The apartment is located near the departure of the Corsica ferries, on the Boulevard Franck Pilatte. The residence has a private parking lot with an automatic gate opening at the rear of the building, and there is a parking space that can be available upon request if you wish to park your car.
Shops, cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment is not far away from the Basse Corniche, which is the road that travels West to Nice, and East to Monaco, via the famous of Villefranche Sur Mer.
Nice, nestled amidst hills and tucked into the unrivalled setting of the Baie des Anges, is famous for its liveliness and its dynamism. It is also, after Paris, the city that boasts the higher number of Museums in France: among others, the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum. But Nice is also a real melting pot: the city has preserved numerous traces of its eventful past and the diversity of its architecture shows how numerous were the worldwide influences.
The Nice train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours from Paris). The international airport (Nice-Côte d’Azur), situated 15 minutes drive from the apartment, has been built on land reclaimed on the sea. It offers daily flights to/from England and the United States. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, Italy is only 30-40 minutes away.
