In a great location on the walking path between town centre and the hospital where Van Gogh committed himself. Pathway has easels with his paintings. Only 3 minute walk from bull arena. We were their during festival week and bulls ran from arena to our street daily.

Bedroom upstairs had 4 lights but only 1 light bulb worked lights downstairs not compatible. Luckily it didn't burn out. Pay neighbour as a local agent.

Three days before arrival had told him through internet that we would be there between 5-6. Arrived at 5:45. Luckily neighbor tried to contact him. She reached him at 7:00 and said his phone was out of order. Finally did and he came over by bicycle, only about block away. If so why didn't he come sooner? He arrived moments after the call. Who knows how long we would wait without her? Owner an iceman but should make sure he meets owner, be available for assistance

We were there 4 nights and only had 4 towels for 2 people. Sheets were so old that were badly worn with lumpy piling. Pillows were actually thin cushions. Cleaning supplies. Not available. One roil of toilet paper for 4 days. No Internet nuisance. Extremely lean and private good parking for car

Exceptional neighbor in attached house. OWNER SHOULD ACTUALLY PAY HER BECAUSE OF HER HELPFULNESS.

Dear Mr. Charles,

I am happy the location of the accommodation suited you fine and that you had a nice stay there, but I am sorry you found so many negative points.

- regarding the lightbulbs, if the guests who stayed there the previous week didn't notify us, we couldn't know, we don't check each time, so it is our fault. You should have let us know on the first day and we would have given you some straight away.

- the day you arrived, I'm sorry the Internet was down since 11 am, so no Internet and no landline phone.
However our cell phone was working. We were also waiting for your call and your being late was also a problem for us since we were expected elsewhere.
Orange telephone maintenance came to fix it Tuesday morning, there was cut wire on the pole by the road, so it was quite unintentional on our part.

- there were 2 cleaning products in the closet below the sink. (I think that when you are here on vacation you don't hammer away at cleaning every day)

- the bed linens are Percale Terylene sheets to keep you cool in the summer. They are changed every time new vacationers arrive. We will not fail to replace them next summer, as we do every year.

- there was toilet paper in the corridor closet, together with an iron and an ironing board.

- as for the Internet, guests can access it using the neighbor's password, you just need to ask for it.

As you very well pointed out, this lady is very kind and we are most grateful to her. What's more, she speaks very good English since they're from England.

We are really sorry about all the mishaps and will not fail to find solutions, for you if you're willing to come back, or for other future vacationers.

Fortunately, the place was pleasant in the sun and the weather was excellent.

Thank you for your review.
Kind regards,
Mr B.

The accommodation was well located and the hosts were very kind. I'd give them 5/5!

The only downside was that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom downstairs.

Dear Mr R,

Thank you for the kind rating you gave us. I am very happy you fully enjoyed your stay at home, be sure we do all we can so our accommodation meets your expectation as much as possible.

You too were very nice guests. As regards the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs, we cannot change the way they are arranged because of the apartment layout and size.

However, we did separated the daytime area from the nighttime corner to ensure a better rest.
