1 Bedroom Vacation Rental in Fitzrovia (LN-118)
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom - Sleeps 2

If you’re looking for a neighborhood with a mixture of everything, you’ve likely found it here in Fitzrovia in central London. Located on Fitzroy Street between Howland Street and Maple Street, near Marylebone, the area is considered to be mostly upscale and was once home to Virginia Woolf and George Bernard Shaw. The building itself is modern, complete with a security system.

This one bedroom, fully furnished London apartment is located on the third floor (fourth floor in America), but don’t worry, there is an elevator in the building. The apartment has 45 square meters (484 square feet) of space across a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen open to the living room. Upon entry, you will be in a hallway; to your left is the bathroom, where you will find a tub and a wall-mounted shower. There is also a heated towel rack in the bathroom as well. Moving down the hall, at the end you will find two doors. To your left is the bedroom, where a queen-sized bed awaits to comfort you after a day of work or explorations in London; there is also a chest of drawers, a side cabinet, and a built-in wardrobe for your convenience. There’s even an ironing board and a hair dryer, should you need either. The door to the right off the hallway leads to the living room, where you will find a sofa bed that converts to a double bed, a foldaway dining table with seating for four, a television with a DVD player and a selection of movies, and a stereo and phone as well. The kitchen is open to the living area and is well-prepared to help you create your own meals; this includes an oven and range, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, and a full set of kitchen utensils and crockery for your use. There’s even a washer/dryer in the kitchen to serve your laundry needs.

This one bedroom London apartment is within a short walk of many of London’s attractions. The British Museum is only 1.1 km/0.7 miles to the southeast. Oxford Street is a haven for shopping, where you will find many clothing, fashion, accessory, and other stores lined up, ready for your viewing; Oxford Street is only about 1 km/0.6 miles to the south. Regent’s Park, where you will find not only Regent’s College but also the London Zoo, wildlife gardens, a boating lake, open-air theatre, and sports facilities, all only 0.8 km/0.5 miles to the west. In just about every direction you should find something interesting to check out. The local area around this one bedroom London apartment is loaded with things to do as well, although the apartment’s building itself is located on a quiet street. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars in the area – whatever you’re in the mood for, you’re probably going to find it among one of the dozens of locales within a half mile (0.8 km) of this accommodation. There are also movie theatres, comedy clubs, dancing, and nightclubs in the area. If you want to get around faster, there’s the Goodge Street underground (subway) stop, only 0.5 km/0.3 miles away to the east, as well as nearby bus stops to use. The convenience and activities here make this a great place to stay while visiting London.

Accommodation Rental: 5 days

They made us pay for the rent of a travel cot for the baby but there was no mattress on it. I had to put the sof towel under my baby's back not to make her sleep on wood. I told the owner but she didn't solve the problem.

The flat was nice and central, anyway.

Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry you were not entirely satisfied with the baby cot. We provided a standard baby cot and the wrap around is normally used as a mattress.

I am sorry if this did not meet your expectations however we did provide more blankets and bedding as soon as you mentioned your concerns. We're glad you both enjoyed your stay and are pleased that we could help with your trip.

We look forward to welcoming you back on a future occasion and would like to thank your co-guest for their kind email to us after your departure.
