This fully-furnished, 377-square-foot (35-square-meter) studio vacation rental accommodation in central London, on Tanner Street just off of Tower Bridge Road, is just three blocks south of Tower Bridge and is in the very heart of the area. With one double bed, this accommodation may accommodate up to two guests. Its open studio-style floor plan means everything is within reach. The kitchen comes with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and other amenities, should you wish to partake of a neighborhood market and prepare your own meals in your studio accommodation.

One block away is Bermondsey Street, with many shopping opportunities including clothing and music, as well as numerous pubs, coffee shops, and other retailers. As mentioned, Tower Bridge is a short three-block walk north, and just over the bridge and the River Thames is the Tower of London itself. Six blocks west is the London Bridge, and another six blocks is Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Culture, dining, and entertainment are fused within a short distance of these London vacation rental accommodations.

And when you’re ready to explore further out from your studio accommodation, London’s transportation network awaits to take you wherever your travels await. The London Bridge rail station and subway stop are located just south of London Bridge itself, while seven blocks west of your studio accommodation is the Borough stop of the subway line. Bus service and taxis may be found throughout the area, and across the street and up about a block is a car rental establishment. With much close by and the means to get anywhere else you might desire, your London studio accommodation will serve as an excellent base from which to soak in the culture and experience that is the City of London.

No electrical outlet by mirror for blow drying hair, no full length mirror but when I asked I was provided with a free standing mirror but really should have been in apartment already. En suite shower is pretty much useless, small, no shelves and have to be in with door closed before turning on otherwise floor gets soaked. Sink cracked in en suite. Saying that, worked for me, bed was comfy, kitchen in good order, location fine, if I was a tourist I might be a bit bummed with the walk to tube.

Hi Ann,

Thank you for your review from your recent stay with us. We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback and we take all comments on board to ensure our future guest stay's are the home away from home we aim to provide all of our guests. We understand not all of our apartments have the amenities required for all guests, however our 24 hour reception team are on hand to assist and meet all guests needs as best as possible. Our maintenance team are regularly working on continuous maintenance plans for all apartments and your feedback regarding the sink and electrical socket will be further investigated and addressed.

Overall we are happy to hear you were comfortable in our Tower Brisge location, which is just around 0.6 miles from the London Bridge tube or easily accessible via many bus routes from our doorway. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

The apartment did not live up to the expectations of the website photos which depicted a couch in each apartment. We were allocated an apartment that amounted to the size of a shoe box and found the cupboards irritating to open and close, not anywhere near enough utensils, only found a knife that would cut bread on the last morning in a cupboard up high above oven that housed nothing else. Overall we liked the location, but we were very disappointed in the amenities and size of this apartment for the money it cost.

Thank you for your recent review regarding your stay. Let me first apologies that your overall stay was not completely satisfactory for you.

We have a number of properties and each property has a slightly different feel internally from classic character to a more modern style. We always note that images are representative only and that apartments vary in layout, size and style. Studio apartments, such as the one you booked on this occasion, can also vary slightly on size so it makes it difficult to provide a sofa in these few exceptions. For future stays you may be more comfortable booking one of our larger categories which has more space throughout, it may be advisable to book a 1 bed open plan apartment. If a guest has a specific request, we encourage them to contact us directly prior their arrival so that we are aware of the request and can make the arrangements. Also if you need further kitchen utensils, we are more than happy to provide these for you.
Furthermore we are currently adding handles to our cupboard doors to provide a better closing mechanism within the kitchens, although these is a working progress. I am sorry that we were not able to resolve this for you during your stay. Within our apartments, we look to provide a home away from home experience and although some are confined on space they have all the necessities for a comfortable stay.

We do appreciate your feedback and hope that this disappointing experience on your last stay does not deter you from staying with us again as we would like to have the opportunity of welcoming you back.

Overall my evaluation is very good, the only flaw was the check-in. Even though we arrived well after 3 pm one apartment was not ready and we had to wait another hour to check-in. This has obviously taken away precious time from us.

I was sincerely saddened to receive this review and would like to take this opportunity to comment. Our check out time is indeed 10am with check in time at 3pm but unfortunately it can be the case that some guests do not vacate the apartment on time which has a knock on effect on other guests. Since investigating this booking further, I note that my colleagues in Reception offered the guest a complimentary late check-out of 1pm by way of an apology.

We received the apartment 1 hour after our arrival because they were still cleaning it....it was 5 pm and the check-out is at 10 am, therefore they should have had enough time. Our first night was sleepless because the bathroom water in room 8 (the one I stayed in) was broken and water dripped continuously.
The next morning (at around 9 am) I asked to send a competent person to fix it and I was assured that it would be resolved by the time I came back. I returned at 8 pm and not only nothing was resolved, but the staff assured me that someone had been there to fix the issue and I know for sure that nobody had come because my cousin had stayed in the room the whole day as she was not feeling well and she did not see anyone. The staff pretended they tried to fix the issue with no results and I did not sleep the second night (they did not even have another room to transfer me to). A terrible stay.

What a pity because the apartment is well located and could be a good solution for who does not want to go to a hotel.

In regards to the maintenance issues, I have checked with members of the Maintenance team and checked our internal reports to establish what happened. It is clear that the issues were reported and the problem was checked twice; once during the guest's stay and a final time on the 10th April. I can only apologise that this was not rectified during the stay and assure the guest that this is not our usual practice.

The apartment was very comfortable, and had everything I needed for my extended stay. The street below was very noisy, but the windows were definitely soundproof, so it was only a problem when I needed to cool down the apartment. Otherwise I loved it. Directions from [the owners of this London vacation rental] were clear and complete for the apartment, local interest, TV, Washer/Dryer, etc.
Thanks
