Stroll the side streets in this neighborhood where unique small shops and local businesses still line the streets providing a true neighborhood feel. Try Flannery’s Bar (205 W 14th St) for drinks with the locals or Bar B (84 7th Avenue) for Italian wines an tapas. For a bit of people watching and nature appreciation, head to the High Line Park where you can stroll along re-purposed railroad tracks planted with a variety of plants, trees and flowers while you admire the architecture of the ever-changing landscape of buildings popping up all along the route including residential buildings designed by the late world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, among others.
