The front door of the unit opens onto a hallway that leads to the open living area that includes a two-person sofa, coffee table, and a TV. The kitchen has wooden cabinetry and basic appliances and utensils. You can sit down to eat your meals at the high table with its matching stools. While both bedrooms provide storage space in the in-built closets, one is furnished with a double bed and dressers, and the other has a double futon and nightstand. The bathroom includes a bathtub-shower, WC, and washbasin with a storage cupboard.
Situated on 13th Street & 1st Avenue, this two bedroom apartment conveniently allows easy access to public transportation. You can catch the L train at the 1 Avenue / 14 Street subway station (less than two blocks north), which will take you east to the trendy Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn with all the ‘hipsters’, or west toward Union Square, where you can transfer to the N, Q, R, 4, 5, and 6 trains. You can also walk 5 blocks to Union Square, where you can relax at the park and support local farmers at the Greenmarket! Alternatively, head to the Astor Place / 4 Avenue station (7 blocks), which runs on the 6 line that goes all the way downtown to Manhattan’s southernmost tip, and uptown past the Upper East Side and Spanish Harlem toward The Bronx. Enjoy discovering the East Village, a culturally diverse neighborhood that’s full of life and has the highest concentration of bars in NYC! Go for drinks at Amor y Amargo, Grassroots Tavern, or Ten Degrees—all within an 8-block radius.
