Grand Street and Bedford Avenue are both a little over a block away (0.1mi), lined with a variety of entertainment options. In the summer you can take the ferry to Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn, which leaves from the East River waterfront (0.7mi). Waterfront concerts are also held in the summer, where you can enjoy live music with the spectacular Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. Check out Fette Sau (0.1mi), a popular dry-rub BBQ spot with cafeteria-style setting. Juliette (0.2mi) is a French bistro with roof deck and garden room while the Radegast Hall & Biergarten (0.3mi) is a sprawling beer hall offering brews and live music.
The nearest subway stop is the L line at Bedford Avenue / North 7 Street (0.3mi), about 4 blocks away, which will take you directly into Manhattan in one stop, or to greater Brooklyn area in the other direction, allowing you to enjoy New York City to its fullest.
