This fully furnished two-bedroom apartment is located on the 5th floor in a prewar walk-up in the Manhattan neighborhood of the East Village.
This apartment is located in a good neighborhood in Manhattan. Rent is affordable for the size and location. The apartment is not luxurious, just standard, so keep your expectations aligned.
The apartment features hardwood floors, air conditioning, and exposed brick walls throughout the apartment. This New York City building has a front door security system with double doors and a locked security gate. The building does not have on site laundry facilities, but there is a Laundromat across the street.
Once you enter the apartment, you are lead into the open kitchen area. It is open and features marble countertops and finished wood cabinets. The exposed brick wall houses a window with an air conditioning unit. The eat-in kitchen is furnished with a full-sized freezer/fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and gas stove. The cabinets hold the pots, pans and cooking utensils.
The first bedroom is furnished with a double sized bed, dresser with mirror, and TV. There is also a closet and 2 windows. The second bedroom also has a double-sized bed and a window. It is furnished with a dresser, shelf, and TV. Sheets are provided upon request.
The bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower combination, WC, and a sink. It is tiled with marble. There is also a window. Towels are provided upon request.
This apartment is located on 13th Street and 1st Avenue, a little over 3 blocks west from Union Square where you will find numerous inexpensive restaurants of every variety and many wonderful food stores. If you feel like tasting some of the best pizzas in New York, head to Motorino Pizza on 12th Street & 1st Avenue (less than 1 block away from the apartment). There are also many terrific bars and clubs in the neighborhood as well as movie theatres.
The nearest subway station serves the L train and is located one block away from the apartment. You can also catch the N/Q/R and 4/5/6 trains in Union Square subway station (4 blocks west).
