This apartment is well located, in a quiet street. It is very well furnished but beds are worn out. Central air conditioning is a bit noisy but you quickly get used to it. Overall, for New York City, it is very good value for money.

Well appointed apartment in a lively neighborhood.
Bed not very comfortable.
Good experience, but unfortunately noisy on weekends because of a community hall next door.
Also-but usual in U.S. apartments-noisy blow heater.

Hello Valentin and Antoinne,

I am sorry you believed the beds were not comfortable. Most individuals who have stayed conveyed that the beds were agreeable and decent. Futon mattresses are slightly different from standard mattresses. Because they require flexibility for folding, the firmness of a standard mattress is eliminated. You may want to keep that under consideration should you choose to rent another apartment that features futons.

The heating system is composite with the apartment design. There are no alternatives for muffling the sound. The system is regulated to come on in intervals. Once the temperature reaches the room setting the system levels off. The system only comes back on when the temperature drops below the room setting.

Unfortunately because of the density of New York real estate, there are occasions were the activities of adjacent neighbors may be heard. Usually this activity is limited to weekends or holidays. For the most part the neighborhood is quiet.

Overall it appears that you had a good experience.

Thank you for your coming and your feedback.
