This short term vacation rental will allow you to visit all of New York City. Located in historic Bedford Stuyvesant, you will stay in a very artistic one bedroom apartment. Please note that this property is more fitted for people looking for an antique vibe.
In Bedford-Stuyvesant, this one bedroom apartment fits right in with its brownstone outside wall. The apartment features also a private backyard. Found on the ground floor of a 2-story townhouse in Brooklyn, New York, this apartment will give you an outdoor area - a rarity in NYC!
Rich hues of red and brown set off the exposed brick and woodwork throughout the apartment, and great bay windows decorate the living room, equipped with a gorgeous antique mirror. Sliding doors open to the sleeping alcove (living room 2), furnished with a queen bed, which you can close for privacy. From here you can access the hallway and the bedroom, furnished with a queen bed and a twin sofa bed. At the end of the hall, facing the backyard, is a large dining table, illuminated by skylights during the day. Here, tenants can access the backyard through sliding glass doors. The kitchen offers most essential cooking appliances.
A sliding door leads you to your private backyard (not accessible during winter). Note that there is a full size futon bed in the bedroom, for one additional sleeping accomodation
Please Note: There are two other rooms found off the kitchen corridor, but that these are not available during the rental and will be locked.
This one bedroom apartment is located on Bainbridge Street & Howard Avenue, on a tree-lined street filled with similar townhouses that reflect the historic nature of the Bedford-Stuyvesant area. While Bed-Stuy is centrally located in Brooklyn (near Crown Heights), it is only two subway stops from Manhattan, putting all of New York City at your doorstep! To shop or catch the subway, stroll south to Fulton Street (0.4mi/450m), which has plenty of convenience shops as well as access to the C line at Ralph Avenue / Fulton Street (0.3mi/600m); this subway line will take you to Manhattan quickly if you connect to the express A train. Additionally, you may walk to Halsey Street / Broadway (0.5mi/800m) to take the J train. For a night out, grab a brick-oven fired pizza made at the acclaimed Saraghina Restaurant (1mi/1.6km) on Halsey Street, directly accessible with the B26 bus.
