Envision yourself in a Brooklyn brownstone apartment, featuring many historic elements like exposed brick and French doors, and complimented by modern amenities like a dishwasher in the kitchen! This unfurnished two-bedroom apartment is on the ground floor of a four-story brownstone building in Clinton Hill, part of central Brooklyn near the Fort Greene and Prospect Heights neighborhoods. With both northern and southern exposure, this apartment features private laundry facilities.
This apartment has two bedrooms that are situated on opposite ends of the unit. The large windows within each room (including the bathroom) allow for natural sunlight to brighten the apartment naturally. The decorative fireplace and exposed brick add character to the apartment and the closets in both bedrooms are a coveted extra not available in all New York apartments.
Situated one block from the Pratt Institute, this two bedroom apartment is located in Clinton Hill, a neighborhood in Brooklyn that is in the middle of the borough. There is a variety of different people ranging from the students at the Pratt Institute and young working professionals to the family oriented individuals. This apartment is located near different restaurants, parks and entertainment outlets. If you enjoy dining out, you can head over to some of the best restaurants Brooklyn has to offer. Locanda Bini & Olii is a great Italian restaurant and it is only 0.3 miles/0.5km from this apartment, but if you prefer something a bit more casual, you can try some of the other various restaurants around Dekalb Avenue, just one block north. When cooking in, you can always pick up your own groceries at the local supermarket that is just across the street! Fort Greene Park, Prospect Park and the Pratt Sculpture Garden are all less than one mile away, making a relaxing day in the sun a great possibility for whenever you are in the mood! In regards to nightlife, you can find multiple bars and lounges in both the main streets as well as hidden side streets -- check out Black Swan on Bedford Avenue and Lafayette for a great happy hour! Many people have travelled all the way from Manhattan to this area to try the yeast donuts baked at Dough, just 2 blocks east, and the pastries at Brooklyn Kolache Co are also getting a lot of attention -- this area has interesting shops popping up all the time!
If you would like to travel to other locations within Brooklyn and New York, you can use the subway stations on Lafayette Avenue and Waverly Avenue, just three blocks away (G line). To travel to Manhattan directly you can access the C train from the subway stop on Fulton Street.
