Fort Greene also offer a thriving restaurant and bar scene, and if you'd rather use the stainless steel appliances of your kitchen and cook at home, you will find several pharmacies and small grocery stores on Dekalb Avenue and Fulton Street, as well as the supermarket Brooklyn Fare 0.4 miles away (640 meters) on Schermerhorn Street, offering a wide selection of food items.
