Enjoy Manhattan’s historic Chelsea neighborhood by staying in this two-bedroom furnished apartment. Located at 8th Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets, this apartment sits on the fourth floor (equivalent to the third floor in Europe) of a New York building with a classic brick facade.
Hardwood and tile flooring runs throughout the space, and the living room includes a sofa, flat screen television, and is connected to the kitchen. This fully equipped kitchen features cooking appliances and a dishwasher, as well as a subway tile backsplash. A dining area is located in the kitchen. The first bedroom includes a full size bed, a dresser for guest storage, and two windows providing natural light to the room and views of the neighborhood below. The second bedroom also includes a full size bed, a dresser, and one window adding natural light to brighten the space. A bathroom includes tile walls and a shower.
The neighborhood has a lot to offer as well. Without even crossing the street, you can enjoy multiple restaurant options. And the shopping found within a 5-block radius caters to a wide range of interests, including the massive Chelsea Market, an indoor marketplace. With an entrance on the other side of this shopping complex, the High Line—a long park located on an old elevated rail line—terminates around a mile and a half (around two and a half km) from the apartment. Chelsea is know for art galleries, many of which can be found along the route of the High Line, no more than a mile (around 1.5 km) from the apartment.
Exploring the rest of Manhattan and New York City is possible through the subway. The 1 train runs at the 18 Street / 7 Avenue station, only 0.3 miles or around 500 meters from the apartment.
