This is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom furnished apartment nestled in New York’s Park Slope neighborhood.
Near the corner of 17th Street and 8th Avenue, this 650-square-foot (around 60 m2) Brooklyn furnished rental also comes with a living room and kitchen. Designed as the entryway, the living room consists of a sofa—which can be made into a double-size sofa bed—a television, and dining area. Connected with this is the open kitchen, which provides a stainless-steel refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. Also included in the kitchen is in-unit laundry. Behind a dark barnyard door is the bedroom, which comes with two single-size beds as well as access to a terrace. The bathroom has a shower with a built-in bathtub and under sink storage. And this is all found on the lower ground floor* of a townhouse (please note the townhouse does not have an elevator).
As one of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park is a 526-acre public garden that has multiple pedestrian pathways and activities, like the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden — and it is only 0.4 miles (around 650 meters) from the apartment (the museum and garden are located on the far end of the park, just less than 2 miles or around 3 km) No farther than the near edge of the park is Nitehawk Cinema, a modern movie space that serves food during the movie, and also has a bar and video games.
The 15th Street and Prospect Park West subway station is 0.4 miles (around 650 meters) from the apartment and runs the F and G lines.
* A lower ground floor apartment is an apartment that is partly below street level

The apartment and landlord were wonderful - super spacious, super clean, and overall had no issues. Anytime we had an issue, they fixed and addressed it right away - great people. As for the area, the apartment is around 10 min walk to two different subway lines - prospect park less than 10 min walk - tons of nice restaurants around - so the area was very nice, quiet, and felt very safe. |
