Do you dream of living in an area of Manhattan known for its cultural and artistic residents? Well then, this eclecticly-furnished two-bedroom apartment share in the Upper West Side is just for you! Located on the 5th floor (considered 4th in Europe) of a prewar walk-up building, this room for rent encompasses a creative ambiance. For privacy assurance, a buzzer/intercom system is in place throughout the building.
The private bedroom embraces the vibe of the entire home: welcoming and creative with a world-traveler inspired vibe. A vibrant curtain hangs down from the west-facing window, setting the mood for this quirky living space. The room, spanning 150sqf (13.9sqm), includes a twin-sized bed with fresh sheets, air conditioner, and a desk with a lamp and chair for completing workloads or recreational activities. Scattered about the room, lively with personality, are paintings, mirrors and brightly colored rugs.
The whimsical shared living room shines with colors of red, green, pink, and blue. Two red sofas sit facing a cable flat screen television, and a window gives the apartment southern exposure. Accessories of all kinds decorate the walls and off-beat lamps provide additional lighting. The separate shared kitchen mimics the ambiance of previously discussed rooms, though appears a bit more traditional with the expected appliances. Here you will find a dining table amongst as well for a quick meal. The bathroom is also shared with the roommate and provides a shower, tub, window, and mirror above the sink.

They told me, my roommate will be in his middle 50s... but he was 80 years old. The guy told me the first day when I arrived, that MY bed has to be left proper everyday like he wants it, if not, he told me, I have to leave and search for another apartment. That was the first day!!! |
