Room for Rent 2 Bedroom apartment in Bedford Stuyvesant (NY-16244)
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom - Sleeps

Live like a local in an NYC apartment share with this two bedroom apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn! The apartment, shared with a roommate, offers a private bedroom for tenants.  It is located on Willoughby Avenue and Nostrand Avenue, on the 4th floor (considered 3rd in Europe) of a 4-story walk-up townhouse.

With its long, thin hardwood floors and high ceilings, this NYC apartment share is a great option for single travelers and students. There are two private bedrooms for rent: Bedroom 1 spans approximately 167sqft (15.5sqm) and is furnished with a single bed, a TV with a Roku player and two closets for storage. Bedroom 2 spans 193sqft (18sqm), also has a twin bed and offers exclusive access to an office space furnished with another single bed, sofa and desk. Both bedrooms offer plenty of floor space, large windows, and for chests for boom shelves for storage. The remainder of the apartment is shared with a roommate and includes a kitchen with all essential cooking appliances and cabinetry, and a full-sized bathroom with a large tub that includes a showerhead.

Found in the trendy community of Bedford Stuyvesant (near Crown Heights), these rooms for rent are surrounded by distinctly Brooklyn shops, facilities and parks. Once home to some of the world’s biggest rappers, the community is now also home to hipsters and families.

Apartment Share Rental: 6 months

Stayed in this room for 6 months during my study abroad semester. The room comes furnished and has most appliences you'd need, including tv, iron, kitchen appliencesetc. The room itself was perfect for my stay as I didn't need more than that was given. I also had lots of closet space and space to move around in the room. The buidling itself can be noisy. You can hear when someone is walking up and down the stairs, opening doors and even your roommate. However, the roommate on my floor is very sweet, clean and considerate when it came to the noise. It's easy to live with a roommate since you're only sharing a kitchen and bathroom. You both have seperate rooms. Overall, the house and the neighbourhood its located in is really nice.

Dear Andjalie,
It was a pleasure being your host. I'm glad you enjoyed the apartment, the neighborhood and your internship while in New York. I especially enjoyed our last conversations and recalling some of the many fond memories I have of Amsterdam. I spoke to the tenant on the third floor and will be posting a notice about entering and leaving the building quietly.
Thank you so much for the feedback and good luck in your studies.
Judith

It would be good to have a brighter entrance with more light on.
