This four bedroom apartment share is on the third floor of a classic Brooklyn townhouse, set on a quite side street from the busier avenue. The living room has an attractive mural extending on the ceiling above and eclectic art adorning the walls which makes the apartment very memorable. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light to spread throughout the living space. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 are available to rent. Both rooms for rent are fully furnished and have full closets. Bedroom 1 has a private full bathroom exclusive to the renter and Bedroom 2 has a large chalkboard wall to draw your own murals or simply write your grocery list for the following week.
In Bedford-Stuyvesant, the apartment is in a prime location for students of Pratt Institute or young professionals. Living here will put you in close proximity to Pratt’s Brooklyn Campus (0.7mi/1.2km) and many other centers of art and culture, most notably BAM, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (1.2mi/2km) known for its avant-garde cinema and theater productions. The area is also an excellent center for leisure with several parks nearby including Prospect Park (1.4mi/2.2km) and Barclays Center (1.2mi/1.9km) where you can catch a basketball game. Food is abundant with a number of trendy restaurants and bars lining Franklin Avenue (1.0mi/1.6km).
Access to the rest of New York City and Brooklyn is best done with the city’s extensive subway line. From the apartment, the closest stations are the A/C lines and Shuttle at Franklin Avenue / Fulton Street (0.3mi/550m) at the Crown Heights border and the G train at Classon Avenue (0.3mi/550m).
