This fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment is located on a residential street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The apartment is on the top floor of a 4-story walk-up brownstone building.
This vacation rental apartment features beautiful mouldings and chandeliers, a decorative fireplace and wood floors. The living room has two single size beds, which can be pushed together to create a queen size bed if desired, and the master bedroom has a queen size bed and a 42'' flat screen televsion. Through the master bedroom, you find an alcove (living room 2 on photos and floorplan), furnished with a single size bed. NOTE: THERE IS NO DOOR BETWEEN THE BEDROOM AND THE ALCOVE.
The living room and bathroom windows have a view of the backyard garden and allows in light from the west, while both bedrooms look eastward and overlook the street. A skylight in the kitchen and bathroom allow in even more sunlight to the apartment.
This fully furnished rental is found on Hancock Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, a historic neighborhood in Brooklyn known for its brownstone-lined streets. Two blocks away on Tompkins Avenue you will find many small cafes, shops and restaurants; try Common Grounds, known for its excellent coffee. Also two blocks away is the Jefferson Market, convenient for grocery shopping.
Public transportation is convenient with the A/C subway station 5 short blocks south.

The apartment is located in a very pleasant area. It is relatively spacious, clean and warm. The noise is partly due to the proximity with the fire station, but anyway New York City is a very noisy city in general and the neighborhood where is located the apartment is relatively quiet compared to New York City average. We enjoyed coming back to the apartment in the evening after spending all day long in Manhattan. The landlady is very nice and maintains friendly relations with tenants. |

Perfect, except for the shower in the bathroom. A shower head attached to the wall would be more comfortable and a new protection around the bathtub would avoid "floods" in the bathroom... But it doesn't matter so much... |
