The room has a niche with a double sofa bed facing a flat-screen TV with cable, and also features a round wooden dining table that seats four, a well-stocked bookcase and a decorative fireplace. This room gives access to the open kitchen, which is situated between the two living rooms. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher so you can enjoy home-cooked meals. The kitchen also includes a bar section, which is part of the second living room. This room has a northern exposure with a view of the typical New York tree-lined street below. The hard-wood floors, exposed brick walls and decorative fireplace in this room will really make you feel at home. The first bathroom can also be found on this floor, and includes a WC, washbasin, marble floor and tiled walls.

On the third floor you will find the two bedrooms and two full bathrooms of the apartment. The first bedroom has a southern view so the room benefits from much natural light, and includes a double sofa bed, decorative fireplace and TV with cable. The second bedroom has three windows which give a view of the street, and features a double bed and another decorative fireplace. The two bathrooms are situated in between the bedrooms. Bathroom 2 has a colorful shower, WC, washbasin, skylight and marble floor. The third bathroom also features a skylight and a marble floor, as well as a shower, WC, washbasin and a Jacuzzi bath. You can access the terrace from the room next to the first bedroom.

This two bedroom vacation rental is located on West 149th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue in Hamilton Heights. This neighborhood is home to some famous historic row houses, and you will find Riverside Park just two blocks to the west from the apartment. This is a great place for jogging, having a picnic, or just taking in the gorgeous view across the Hudson River. Moreover, you will find grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping facilities on Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue just half a block in either direction. Golden Wok just two blocks south has some amazing affordable Chinese food, and P & M Pizza one block south from here offers some of the best pizzas you can find uptown. This area of New York City is also very rich in history: George Washington even had his headquarters at the Morris-Jumel Mansion just one subway stop north of this apartment. Public transportation is conveniently located: at 145 Street and Broadway 5 blocks away you can catch the 1 train, and at 145 Street and St Nicholas Avenue 6 blocks away you can catch the A & D express trains or B & C local trains.
