Location: New York City-Tribeca
Size: 4 bedrooms, 1 bath, 2500 square feet (approximately 300 square meters). There is room for more.
Interior: The loft, located on the fifth floor, has a window on three sides (14 in all).
The 900 square feet living room has exposed wood beams and red brick, and is equipped with a full stereo, hung speakers, and cable TV. Furnishings include two couches, 2 large chairs, a coffee table, two hardwood side tables, a Persian rug, a swinging wicker chair suspended from the ceiling, an inversion sling also suspended from the ceiling (a yoga device used to decompress the back), a nordic Track machine and a 7 foot Steinway grand piano. There is a large open area rug, which is great for yoga or tai chi. It also has three brick arches, which run along the north wall of the space. Thereare two queen size sofa beds.
The dining room has a large table which seats ten, a hutch, a buffet and a desk.
The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds as bunkbed style and the third bedroom has a full-size bed. All three bedrooms have a phone.
The fourth bedroom has kid bed or a single bed (on request).
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator, a phone, and various small electric appliances all the dishes, pots and pans one could need and even a cassette/CD stereo.
The bathroom has a tiled 6 foot cast iron tub with shower in it and a washer-dryer. All three bedrooms have large closets, dressers, 2 windows and are set in the rear end of the loft. All linens and towels are provided.
Neighborhood: The building is located just a few blocks from both SoHo and the heart of Tribeca. There are many restaurants in the city, which are five minutes away by foot and China town is also a short walk away. The art galleries of SoHo are also five minutes away. The Hudson River is two blocks away. There is a jogging, blading and biking path along the river which runs all the way down to the southern tip of Manhattan, a lovely park with sculpture garden and children's playground, a recreational pier with beach volleyball, miniature golf, and kayaking and two tennis courts open to the public. Greenwich Village is also within walking distance of many forms of entertainment, musical, artistic and otherwise. There is both supermarket and health food shopping stores within walking distance as well as open-air markets twice a week.
Transportation: The 8th Avenue and the 7th Avenue subways are both within three blocks. Buses stop one block away and taxis are readily available two blocks away.
