Was the quintessential Parisian apartment, or what you'd imagine for Paris. It is also a real neighbourhood where where one can speak French and follow the French customs. I'd highly recommend this pretty apartment, the neighbourhood and reliability of Preston, the property manager. |

This apartment was perfect for our first month in Paris. It was warm and cozy, and there were lots of practical amenities like the washer/dryer, a printer, free phone calls to the USA, adaptor plugs for our appliances, etc. I loved the thick rugs on the floor which made the apartment feel softer and quieter than many Paris apartments I have stayed in and the front rooms were lovely and sunny on nice days. The apartment is very close the Parc Monceau and has great shopping behind it; as it turns out, it was also very close to where my oldest was going to school and to the Ecole Normale de Musique where he will be studying piano. The bakery across the street was as friendly as any I have ever been to in Paris. In short, everything was perfect! The only thing that my kids missed was a DVD player so they could watch english language movies as they got tired of French and CNN. Oh, I should add that the booklet of information and the maps of Paris were unbelievably helpful and the apartment manager was terrific. |
