This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue Saint Martin in the Marais in the 3rd district of Paris. It is just next to the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, an art complex devoted to modern and contemporary art and design. It is a particularly colorful structure made of steel and glass with exposed pipes. The apartment is also close to Les Halles Mall, in a short walking distance to the Louvre and the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, as well as to the Seine with its unique islands -- Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame) and the delightful Ile Saint Louis. In addition to assorted French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, there are many conveniences in this neighborhood, such as a laundromat at the foot of the building.
This studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th century walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor. Then a second gate opens into a hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into the main room with the open kitchen.
The main room has a window with western exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a desk and a chair, a console surmounted by a flat screen TV with cable, internet (wifi), a closet and a mobile AC.
The open kitchen is equipped with two induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.

Had a sofa bed that was slightly broken. Slight issues contacting my landlord because of the language barrier. No sunlight entered the room which caused seasonal affective disorder.
